Enjoyed reading your post; Why Blog? The one thing which resonated with me the most was, “be open to the possibility of….” I don’t have to change my mind or my beliefs but just have to be open to the possibility that there are other beliefs and mindsets and open to the idea that maybe I don’t know everything.!

Keep on Bloggin!

Oh wow! That's a good one! Mainly, I hear more stories about my family and my mom and her brother growing up. I hear other stories too about how when my grandmother was bad, her mom would give her the silent treatment. And sometimes it lasted days! Pretty brutal for a kid, no?
She is such a character and so smart and awesome to be around. The Johnny Walker just gives it all a little kick!:-)

Thanks for asking!
Love,
Dana

Dana,
Sure, there’s something cathartic about singing when you’re feeling blue. The same yearning for love or angst of pain felt when we've lost someone close allows us to tap into deep seated emotions. Music is the universal language - an emotional lubricant if you will, that allows all human kind to access and express feelings that we might not otherwise be able to tap into? We don't all have the gift, but we all can be moved by the universality of music, regardless of its origin.

Now, how about channeling Colbie Caillet? She seems to be able to sing about the happier side of life and love. Bubbly!

All the Best, Gaetano
