Happy thursday!

Today is my day off although I haven’t really been taking full advantage of that. I usually feel like I’m halfway between relaxing and getting stuff done. I have to get better at giving myself a day off. But that’s a topic for another day.

Today’s topic is numbers:) I think I have a weird thing with numbers. I love them. And certain numbers I like really love. Like 3 and 7. My love of numbers is odd. And by that I mean I love mostly odd numbers. Like for example, I set my alarm clock to 9:37. It will never be on 9:30, or 9:45. My boyfriend, John, makes constant fun of me. Last night he MADE me set it for 9:42 just to see if I could, and I almost had a mini-freakout. Hence my realization that I have a weird thing about numbers, and hence this post.

I’ve always felt a strong connection to the number 3. I didn’t realize that it might be something that not all people experience until I tried to explain it to my boyfriend. I can’t explain it. It’s just something that I feel. And of course I thought everyone did. John assured me they don’t. “We’ll don’t you have a number?” After a few moments of contemplation, he came up with 15. But I never have to contemplate it.

In fact when I was living in New York, I bought a necklace with the number 3 on the chain and I wore it all the time. My nickname at work was number 3. My friend Jeffrey who is from the Domincan Republic called me “numero tres”. I liked it. And so the question ” Don’t you want to be number 1?” I mean…of course! But, that’s not the number I feel connected to. I can be number 1 and also be numero tres.
