I think I had a post with that title already but I don’t care-I’m doin it again! It’s the truth and I always want to keep saying it like that. I mean, how can you not quote Phil Collins when you have the chance?

So yes, I am in the studio and loving every second of it! Honestly, if I could just be in the studio all the time, I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. Not even out and about on some of the nicest days that San Francisco has seen in months. That’s right, I’m happier to be inside in the studio than at Baker Beach or the Park Chalet. I am waking up at 8am and not complaining! That, my friends, is a pretty big deal.

It is so exciting to witness my songs come alive! I literally can hardly sing because my smile is too big and is interfering:)Today we laid down the drum tracks and the most amazing and talented drummer Scott, breathed a whole new life into the music. And Jon on bass, there are just no words. The whole process is so intoxicating and so cathartic in the creative process that I don’t know what to do with myself. Actually, I know that I have to take myself to bed because I have another early day at the studio tomorrow but I just wanted to write a quick something to share my excitement. I’ll let you know how tomorrow goes and I hope everyone has a beautious weekend!
