Moving right along into the 30's with Song in Your Box. It's Sunday, it's FREEZING out, and I'm on my rug curled up next to two cats. And I just wrote this week's song. The song writing process is still so bewildering to me. One minute the song doesn't exist and then it does. And sometimes, I don't even remember writing it. There's an awesome talk given by Elizabeth Gilbert author of "Eat Pray Love" where she talks about your "genius" and how in greek mythology the greeks believed humans had geniuses but were not themselves geniuses. It's a really cool way to think about it and if you have the inclination, I highly recommend watching it....especially if you're creative in any way. Here's the link for that.
