I haven’t written in a long time. Truth be told, I haven’t known what to say. I’ve been diving deeper within myself, and been having experiences I’ve been sharing just with those few close friends around me. 

If you follow me on social media, you know that I’ve been traveling a bit. (and if you don't, join me.) My job in NY ended in September and as soon as I found out, I decided I would take a little hiatus. Take myself on a little adventure. 

What’s interesting about Charlie Puth is that while many artists don’t even write their own songs, not only does he write them, but he also produces and/or co-produces most (if not all) of them. With “Attention”, he is the sole producer. It’s not an attribute you hear a lot of these days. Did I mention that he’s 25 years old?

My choice for this #songsiwishiwrote might sound cliché, but “Stand by Me”, truly is a song I wish I wrote (as do many others as it’s been recorded over 400 times). The song was performed and made famous by Ben E. King, and written by King, Lieber, and Stoller in 1960.
