Feed Me Diamonds

Well I'm obsessed. It's something I have come to terms with in my life. Hello, my name is Dana and I have an obsessive personality trait. Specifically when it comes to music that I like.

What happens is that the song is on repeat for days on end and it's hard to get me to listen to anything else. I certainly TRY, but before I know it I'm listening to the new obsession again. It happens all the time.

And the past couple of weeks, it has been the RAC (Remix Artist Collective) remix of a song, "Feed Me Diamonds"by MNDR.

It is so hot, I can't stand it. Literally-I have to dance when I hear it-I cannot just stand (or sit for that matter).

I accidentally downloaded the original one and then realized it wasn't the one I wanted and I was astounded at the difference. The remix is 1000 times better.

It is always so exciting to me to think about how this person in the collective(whoever s/he was) heard the original and came up with the remix.

I suppose it's not different than having a song on guitar and vocals and then turning it into a mega pop song. But that's exciting to me as well.

So I'm going to give you each version here. The original first. And then the remix and you tell me if you agree that the remix is better, and if you’re also amazed and excited by the idea that the RAC listened to the original song and heard it as what is now the remix.
